Susan Brown is lying about the initial shipping costs, as well as the return costs that were spread across 2 shipments.  The real loss was 2.75 times what she states.  All because of a component that was optional.  Let's also not forget the turmoil caused by all this for the school year.  Teachers were forced to use outdated curriculum and to fend for themselves.

So no, it wasn't $20,000 - but think of how that $9,000 could have been better spent.  What could that have supported instead of wasted in the name of ideology that year?
