WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE “IN FAVOR”

  • Because every child deserves a safe, welcoming place to learn!
  • Our public schools are open to everyone, ensuring all kids have equal opportunities, no matter where they live.
  • Because until the state fully funds education, it’s up to us.
  • Without full funding, our schools can’t give our kids the resources they need to succeed.
  • Because our children are the future—our doctors, engineers, and community leaders.
  • Supporting their education today means investing in a stronger community tomorrow.
  • Because a well-rounded education matters. Programs like athletics, arts, music, and trades prepare students with the skills they need for a balanced and enriching experience.
  • Because community support inspires our kids to thrive.
  • When children feel supported, they excel. And with your support, our schools will have the tools to help them succeed.
  • Because strong schools make strong communities.
  • A thriving school brings people together, creating a sense of belonging and unity in our small town.
  • Because investing in schools is a small cost with a big return.
  • For around $10.85  per month on a home assessed at $425,000 (before homeowners exemption) you’re supporting 930 students for a year—a small investment for our biggest asset: our kids!

Let’s empower our future by supporting our schools and building a vibrant community for all.

The levy is crucial to REBUILDING our school district. The chaos that the old board left has had a negative impact on our district. The naysayers who want to see our public school system dismantled are putting out a lot of misinformation. This isn’t new; they lied before. They claimed that more than $1 million in school funds had been lost or misappropriated, yet a forensic audit by an impartial third party showed there were no “financial improprieties.”

That useless audit cost our school district more than $50,000 – money we didn’t have to waste. Now these same people are urging others to vote against the levy.

We are asking you once again for your help so we can finish the job of rebuilding our schools. Our community needs to come together to feed and educate our children. Please get to the polls on May 20 (or vote early, or vote absentee – see info here– bring a friend! – to vote “IN FAVOR” of the levy on May 20.
